Keystone Z-Bur Diamond Bur

The special hollowed, fluted design of Keystone’s Z-Bur Diamond Bur is perfect for easy removal of sticky tissue conditioners and pastes commonly used to take denture impressions. The bur also works well in removing most soft liners. Normally messy removal of materials is eliminated with the Z-Bur action set at a medium speed (15,000-25,000 rpm). The slower cutting speed reduces burning and melting of the liner. The hollowed design also reduces the clogging of carbide and minimizes flying debris. Once the liner is removed the final preparation of the hard surface can be performed with carbide of choice.

Hatho Habras Discs

Habras Discs, manufactured by 3M™, offer you a unique, three-dimensional
abrasive/flexible bristle design that provides a uniform finish. These discs
are ideal for heavy cleaning (coarse), removing light oxide (medium),
pre-polishing, semi-finishing, blending, texturizing and polishing (fine).
Habras Discs provide the convenience of a pre-charged abrasive but do
not generate the heat associated with rubber wheels. Embedded cubitron
mineral abrasive is much harder than most metal. Removes oxides and
polish without using compounds. Ideal for cleaning metal work and
hard-to-reach areas. 10,000 RPM. 19 mm dia.

Hatho Special Lathe Brushes

Hatho Miniature Scotch Brite

You can use the Hatho Miniature Scotch Brite™ wheel to polish services without ruining delicate anatomical surfaces on dental appliances. By using low speeds – around 5,000 rpms – and light pressure the acrylic should not overheat due to friction. Hatho Polishing Discs with Scotch Brite

Providing superior performance to arbor bands or burs, the Scotch Brite™ line is ideal
for working on softer materials such as dentures and removal of soft denture reline
material. The core is wood encased in plastic, allowing easy mounting/dismounting
from the lathe and ensures the disk remains “true”. The removable plastic side rings
