Hands on Course Outline
The course will be broken down into 2 segments. The first segment will be an overview of the course with an explanation of the things we are looking to accomplish and what techniques and materials we will use to reach those goals.

The second segment involves the observation as well as participation (if applicable) in the techniques. Participants will be asked to observe and construct (if applicable) a base-plate with palatal anatomy transfer, observe and arrange anterior (if applicable) teeth using one of a choice of photos to imitate the character and positioning of the teeth in that photo using the techniques I have explained, and I will be performing hands on. Contouring of the base with tissue anatomy will also be illustrated and be performed (if applicable), by participants. I will also illustrate the colorization technique in conjunction with pack processing, as well as the processing technique using the injection machine. Because of the time needs involved in the aspect of processing and the lack of suitable time, actual processing will be done prior to course. However, I will trim and finish one pack press and one injected case for the attendees so to observe the processing results, as well as the techniques and materials I use for finishing.

Course will offer the following
’ΔΆ Tooth selection, and modification techniques.
’ΔΆ Esthetic arrangement guidelines.
’ΔΆ Palatal anatomy and base-plate fabrication, contour techniques, rationale and materials.
’ΔΆ Denture base materials, characterization through contour and color.
’ΔΆ Waxing for finish.
’ΔΆ Processing technique overview involving injection and pack pressing equipment, and materials.
’ΔΆ Finishing techniques and materials.
